Visited Cosmic Saltillo as soon as I landed in Austin. A friend suggested we meet there before dinner. I arrived mid afternoon and the place was buzzing. Fortunately, I didn't drive; I took a rideshare so I didn't have to worry about parking. It looks limited to street parking. Cosmic Saltillo is a really neat place. There's tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space is massive and has plenty of shade. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic coffee, tacos, and more. The wifi is strong. Saving my appetite for dinner, I only ordered a drink; a boozy iced coffee. I don't remember the name, but it was creamy, but not too rich. Sweet, but not overly sweet, and quite tasty. I could see myself frequenting Cosmic Saltillo if I lived in the area!

Visited Austin and was this place pop up as a recommendation. Not typically a fan of breakfast tacos but oh my! These tacos were amazing, I came back the next day to eat some more. The tortilla was so fresh and good, egg and chorizo were the perfect proportion. And the salsa was really the cherry on top! Will return once I'm back in Austin!

I absolutely love having a Cosmic location on the east side near where I live! It's such a versatile spot--perfect for working during the day, a casual date night, or even heading out on a Friday or Saturday night. I usually come here during the day during the week to work, and the atmosphere is just incredible. It's cozy yet vibrant, with plenty of space to settle in and get things done. The coffee is fantastic--last time I came, I got an iced coffee, and it was smooth and refreshing. If you're in the mood to indulge, their drink options are just as great. On my most recent visit, I tried a Ranch Water, and it was perfectly made and super refreshing. Cosmic Saltillo truly nails it with amazing vibes, great drinks, and a laid-back yet lively energy. Whether you're here for work or play, it's always a good time. Highly recommend!

This is hands down one of my favorite spots to work remotely! It has has plenty of outdoor seating, exceptional service, the best breakfast tacos, fire pits and of course coffee. Their cosmic latte is always a go to for me!

I came here on an event night with friends. The place was packed and lively. The atmosphere was fun and the venue is awesome. I love how there are seating hidden away so that you can have more hidden conversations. There is a second floor and a view to DT. On the way in, there is a stair case that goes to a Christmas themed room. It feels like Christmas already. There are Japanese water garden inspired theme through out. Definitely recommend people to come here for the vibe and atmosphere. For the drink, I got a mango-nada. It was pretty good and definitely recommend it.

I've had two separate visits to Cosmic Saltillo and both had very different vibes -- but weirdly enough, the vibe fit my personal occasion on both visits. My first experience was a date, where things were lower key but still hip and conducive to a pleasant start to the evening before dinner reservations. My second visit things were definitely kicked up a notch, with a DJ and larger crowd -- good for getting my friends and I hyped to go to some bars. The bartenders were noticeably charismatic, and the atmosphere definitely left a good impression on me. I enjoyed the drinks on both visits, going with their specialty cocktails.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer patio on a clear Austin October night. Cosmic Saltillo has done a great job with their backyard, adding maybe 10-12 picnic tables with umbrellas, lights strung high above, some big-ass fans to keep the air moving, a water feature, and a spattering of beach chairs around for lounging. Then there's the rooftop patio, which is now covered! I'm a beer drinker, and they have some good ones on tap. I go for Icy Boys from Zilker Brewing when it's warm out. They also have drafts from Meanwhile, Pinthouse, Jester King, St Elmo and a few other of the popular Austin independent breweries. I'm also a coffee drinker, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend the coffee over other local spots, it gets the job done. Cosmic Saltillo also boasts a built in taco shop that delivers fresh, tasty tacos for a reasonable price (for Austin anyway). The brisket and sunny egg is juicy and delicious

While parking around the place is bad, we did find a public parking garage not that far away and it was only $5 an hour when we went. The place is very nice, a nice walkway and lots of open space inside, I assume sometimes there is dancing? They have a disco ball so maybe. There is a area with chairs and a bar like table to sit at in side and TONS of seating outdoors with a huge screen which was showing Texas vs OU this day. Cool added feature they were giving out free shots with every Texas Touchdown! The drinks were good and as Shana puts it "pretty" and the service was mostly fast and friendly. They do have Tacos but we didn't try them as we had already eaten. Shana loved the drinks and the vibe, at one point the TV outside stopped working and they lost the game which given the rivalry that didn't go well, no one was overly mean that I could see but you could tell people were not happy. We only stopped in for a drink as we were close, we wanted to see Gibson Street bar but parking was impossible there so they lost our business. This one also does Halloween but for whatever reason had not put up décor yet. Cool Place overall.

All of social media kept telling me to get coffee from Cosmics. Luckily they opened this new location closer to my airbnb so of course I went! You walk through a little walkway full of greenery then are immediately greeted to their open outdoor layout! Majority of their seating is outdoors and they have alot of it. Looking at their menu, they got alot of nice options for everyone. The cashier was super helpful and nice. My amaretto latte was rich and smooth with the right amount of sweetness. Then we walked next door to grab some breakfast tacos which were fire! They also sell booze which is cool!!
